But we had a slightly more original idea: a easy disguise to turn into a clownfish! As Ariel has exchanged her fins for legs, we suggest you do the opposite! Everyone can customize your costume and leave happy. Here we go, we're taking off!

    Prepare the necessary materials and print the clown fish costume printable twice (2 sides).

  • STEP 2.

    Assemble the A3 sheets together and stick the printable on the cardboard. Then cut around the shapes. You get the cardboard cut to the shape of the body of the clown fish.

    ⚠️ Warning: you have to do both sides of the fish, because the child slips inside it. For the second side, you have to use the same printable.

    Transfer the white stripes by hand using the printable.
    Paint the cardboard. Little advice, we start with white, then red.
    We glue the 4 dorsal and pelvic fins (those at the top and bottom) inside with strong glue (see very strong), they will exceed just enough. We glue the pectoral fin (the one in the middle) and the eye, making sure they are well placed.

    Assemble the two parts of the fish at the front, using a strip of colored paper about 15x25 cm.
    Feel free to staple the strip to the cardboard.

    Add fabric bias / ribbons (with a little stapler) so that the child can wear the costume.

There you go, you now have a beautiful disguise handmade ! Admit it, when you were told: "It's a easy diy for a cheap disguise", you said to yourself "It's bound to be a April Fool"! Well no, we don't laugh with crafts, at My Little Day... All you have to do is put it on and swim like a little fish in water 🐠
