DIY CHRISTMAS TREE DECORATION

It's official, Holidays is back ! Christmas movies are on repeat, All I Want for Christmas is You by Mariah Carey is on the radio every 30 minutes... And it's time to decorate everything, starting with the tree! Since it's cold outside, you don't feel like going out to buy decorations for the Christmas tree (besides, the stores will surely be packed), and the children are stuck inside... So, here's a christmas tree decoration idea which will make it possible to join useful and pleasant by organizing a Christmas decoration activity! Come on, we'll explain how to do it, let's go!

    Print the Christmas tree decorations printable on a white sheet and cut out the different shapes following the patterns.

    Place them and transfer them with a pencil on the felt of the corresponding color (on the back so as not to see the traces of the pencil) or on glitter paper if you like glitter.

    Fix the small shapes on top of each other using the glue pellets. Don't forget that it will eventually be necessary to place the ribbon between 2 shapes (prefer the larger ones)!

    Cut a piece of ribbon the desired length. You can also use string or yarn as desired. Then, place a glue pad where you want to put your ribbon (between 2 shapes or behind your decoration) and arrange it on top as in the photo on the left above. Put a last glue patch on the ribbon where its 2 ends intersect, and place the felt shape on top.

    And here's the result !

Practical tip: vary the colors and make fantasies! You can also personalize your decorations by writing everyone's first names on the decorations, using a textile marker. 

All you have to do is hang them on your tree and add lots of christmas tree decoration : Christmas garlands, candy cane, and lots of lights! Once the tree is finished, all you have to do is rest! We get warm under our plaid, we take our box of chocolates and our candies and we take the opportunity to redo the classic Christmas movies: Mom, I missed the plane, Love Actually, the Grinch...
