DIY CALENDAR POUCHES

Christmas is, for most, the favorite time of the year: the snow, the movies to watch under your blanket with a hot chocolate... However, it is often a long wait for Christmas Eve, and the calendars of Advent are perfect for taking our troubles patiently! And as at My Little Day, we like originality, we thank the blogger Morganbear, who imagined a super DIY with our paper pockets and a nice diversion of the cups! And presto, an Advent calendar that adapts to all types of small gifts and all interiors!

    Print the calendar sticker printables and prepare the necessary materials.

    Cut out the calendar sticker printables following the patterns.

    Turn your cups into surprise boxes with to the tutorial that we found for you. Don't forget to slip in your Advent gift before closing the box!

    Stick a golden star sticker on the top of the box to keep it closed and stick the label with the number below the cup. Then, tie the box with the string. To do this, wrap the string around the cup, crossing the threads below, then tie the string on top, leaving 30 cm free to hang it on the hanger.

    Take the pouches, fill them with different gifts. Close the pockets with masking tape and stick a label with a number on each pocket.

    Using the hole punch, make a hole at the top of the label to slip the string through. All you have to do is hang all your boxes and pouches on the hanger!

    And here is the final result ! 

Here you are, you have finished your super advent calendar from a few paper pockets and cups diverted into small boxes! All you have to do is wait patiently for December 1st!

Practical tip 1: you can make the Advent calendar as an activity with the children!


Practical tip 2: be careful not to overfill the pockets and evenly distribute the weight so that the Advent calendar does not tilt or break!
