DIY SAFARI STILTS

Un safari birthday in sight and a lack of ideas for animations? Nothing better than a frantic stilt race with friends! And the safari party is even more fun when they put themselves in the shoes of their favorite animal!
We have prepared a DIY stilts for you that will give you the banana.

EQUIPMENT

The printable of stilts on the safari theme to download (note, this is an A3 format!)
A3 paper
Large empty tin cans (two per runner, approximately 10 cm in diameter and 12 cm high)
rope
A pair of scissors
Strong glue
A nail
A hammer

    Print and cut out the safari themed stilt printable on an A3 sheet.

  • 2ND STEP.

    Take an empty tin can and turn it over so that the opening is at the bottom. Mark two points on either side of the box, one centimeter from the bottom. With the nail and the hammer, drill two holes in place of the previously marked points. Be very careful, the nail can slip!! (You can also do this step with a drill if you have one.)

    Glue the printable of stilts on the safari theme all around your tin can, remembering to put the front of the leg between the two holes. Punch the holes through the paper.

    Cut a piece of rope about six feet long, pass one end through each hole and tie a knot in it to hold it in place.

And There you go ! All you have to do now is do the other foot, and let's go for a crazy animation!


Friend's advice : to spice up the party a bit, you can have a stilt race with rewards to be won.
