Baker's twine
masking tape

    Prepare all materials before you begin.

    Attach the honeycomb balls to the skewers using masking tape.

    Cut about 20 cm of baker's twine and tie the twine to the skewers.

    Cut small pieces of masking tape and hang them around the string. To get the little flag spikes, just cut a little triangle, and voila!

Congratulations, you've made fabulous two-step, three-step toppers! All that remains is to plant them on the cake and impress the gallery!
Practical tip 1: do not hesitate to assemble two skewers together to make everything more stable!
