Organizing a pajama party is so simple that we could have left you alone on this one! Only here it is, going back to school in 6ᵉ is already torture for Romy, and the first times, it's always hard... So, we want to please her, that's why we've concocted this retroplanning to follow very closely. Finding activities for her pajama party will undoubtedly make her the queen of her group, she will probably make friends for life, or at least until next year! We're not going to lie to you, Domino's pizzas and the Boum 1 would have done the trick, but we want to make the party unforgettable, so we also prepare the Boum 2, The student and more. We decided to have a pajama party for girls and adults! Romy is 11 years old and is entering 6ᵉ. Obviously, the activities, the selection of films may vary according to age. A pajama party is a cool thing, so we avoid what would be too babyish and we don't forget that all of Romy's sociability is at stake! The party will take place on a Friday evening, relative to the school outing. So everything will have to be ready on Thursday evening, for the lucky ones, we still advise you to take your half-day to finalize everything!

For latecomers, no stress (we will always be there for you)! A pajama party involves a night with friends (girlfriends) so it is better to warn the parents yourself. The problem is that in 6ᵉ it starts to be a bit complicated to meet them, and above all almost impossible when you leave college. So, we are preparing an invitation with essential information: your email and your phone so that the parents can reach you. We can even add a date when you will be available at the cafe downstairs so that parents who do not know you can meet you! The ultimate detail is also pajamas, spare panties, toothbrush, in short, a pajama party!

If you're really in the rush, you can always buy some, but don't forget to add at least the phone and the email!

3 weeks before  It's time to fill out the invitation cards... Romy is great, we let her take care of it! She slips girly stickers inside the envelope and sticks some on them!

2 weeks before We have wrapped up the theme of the party. All that remains is to do the shopping. For the decoration, we prepare everything you need for the tent (the highlight of this decoration!), cushions, plaids, dream catchers, light garlands, a disco ball. For the dishes: stock up on plates, iridescent cups; and even a popcorn box! As for the gifts, be careful, we're not kidding: varnish, cool badges, a fancy cushion, in short, great gifts! For bulky clutches, we now have bags for guests to leave spoiled.

10 days before For you, you no longer need to dress up and drink 1 liter of coffee to prepare for the day. Romy was very clear, the further away you and the whole family are, the better!! Finally, it's not so bad to see them grow! We send the other children to friends, and the other of the couple organizes an evening with friends! We are preparing a catch-up reading evening… we dreamed of it!

1 week before Here we are. Almost. We make sure that the product order is on its way, or even already arrived… We finish shopping for gifts at Hema and Sephora: choice of recipes and activities, filling out the evening's schedule with Romy, just to remember a few rules! Print the printables, the playlist and especially the films!

the day before It's a bit of a dream this tent, between a tepee and the cabin of the girls of Jude Law in The Holiday. We are not going to hide it, the result will be so beautiful that this cabin will be enthroned in the house for days. Ideally, we put it in the living room / TV lounge (compared to upcoming films), in the bedroom it works too. Either, we use a tepee base, and we have long sections of fabric on it to enlarge the surface that we fix with thumbtacks on either side of the wall. We wrap the feet with light garlands, we cover the floor with mattresses, cushions and balloons... No teepee structure, no worries: we fix a hook to the ceiling above the sofa and we hang lots of different fabrics on it. 'we come to hang with thumbtacks on either side of the wall. At the bottom of the sofa, we add mattresses, plaids and cushions. Add balloons and string lights. A cake is not an obligation for a pajama party, but if it's a birthday, there's not much choice! So, we make a pretty piece of cake with yogurt, we cover it with a colored icing. To decorate it tomorrow: we're preparing the pajama party toppers and sparking candles!

⏰ D-DAY ⏰

The party starts at 17 p.m., on leaving college, we put down our afternoon to finish the preparations solo, peace assured!

12h30 We have a quick lunch and we go to the newsstand to raid their favorite magazines, gossip about kids united, Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber, Young & Pretty quizzes, games, in short enough to let them gossip throughout of the evening like grown-ups! We prepare a kit with colored pencils for the tests!

13h15  Arrived at home, we admire the tent, because it is really magical, we hope that Romy understands how lucky she is! No time to linger too long, we free up one of the shelves in the living room to make a stuffed animal bar. For an evening, they will come back to life, we arrange them in a row of onions, and we don't forget the Plush Bar panel in free printable!

On the lower shelf, we do it again with the Vernis bar! Because they dream of it, tonight it will be allowed. We plan 2 varnishes per girl and we line them all together, we don't forget the bottle of nail polish remover and cotton in a candy box!

14 h The popcorn bar is the essential of the evening, we set up on a small table the popcorn boxes with the red blind above! And hop, we just have to put the popcorn bar sign! The more adventurous can also make colorful popcorn and place it in candy boxes or in the Hollywood popcorn dispenser!

15 h We move on to the cooking preparations: candy and fruit skewers, we prepare the ingredients for the pizzas so that it's quick when the time comes!

16 h  No more time to lose, we check that the playlists are ready, that there are batteries in the remote control of the DVD player!

17h15  That's it, the girls are here! We show them the lounge area, and given their faces, I think the decor is successful! We put the school bags and the bags with the pajamas in Romy's room! We explain to them the course of the evening during the snack break with fruit and candy skewers, and some donuts, it will be an evening that between them, they are only waiting for this:

- Another film (well maybe not, that's a lot!)

18 h It's time to settle in the tent, we're launching the first film! We hear in the distance the beginning of the Boom, Vic, Romy, the voices merge, that's it, they're in! On our side, we are active in the kitchen to prepare the pizzas and the topper on the cake!

19h30 The film is over, we take the opportunity to go back into the living room to see what's going on! We warn the girls that it's the varnishing that begins! Normally, they will tell you that they manage and you can go about your business, the further the better!

20h30 It's pizza time! Caffeine-free soda, lemonades, we also prepare cherry tomatoes just to add a vegetable to this evening of junk food! If it's a birthday, it's also time for the cake!

21h30 We go to brush our teeth, our hair, and we put on our pajamas! When they're all dressed up, we take the opportunity to do a little photo shoot under the tent, with stuffed animals, balloons and a pillow fight with the boom playlist in the background!

22 h We are launching the second film, well, you will have understood it, we are fans of Sophie, so we do not change a winning team: it will be boom 2! Meanwhile, we prepare the pancake batter for tomorrow morning, we tidy up, the table and we prepare the bowls, the spread, the glitter!

23h30 The film is over, we take the opportunity to see if everyone is alive! Normally some are already asleep, others are offered to read the magazines and chat quietly!

0h30 We order the lights out! 

8h30 It's wake-up time, and it's crepes / pancakes party, we've already prepared some nicely decorated stacks with toppers, they'll do the rest!

9h30 We go back to the tent to read the magazines, do the tests, we can also relaunch a little film!

10h30 Before going back to get dressed, we distribute Romy's gifts, and for the girls, the pockets have been filled with nail polish, jewelry or badges, a little surprise gift! The icing on the cake, they leave with a cushion that we had bought for the occasion!

11 h It's time to get dressed, a bit of a wash anyway and the first parents arrive to pick up their offspring!

12h30 The family is coming back together, if you are super smart, use the fatigue of this evening as an excuse to let your + 1 take care of your children and go get a manicure, a real one! In the car, we listen to Dream, and we secretly tell ourselves that we have done it!
