A pair of scissors

    Prepare the materials needed to make happy-face surprise balls.

    Take the sheet of tissue paper and form a ball with it.

    Slip a first gift inside.
    NB: the ideal is to slip the biggest gift first. When the kids open the surprise ball, have the birthday child open the last and biggest present!

    Close the ball of tissue paper.

    Take the roll of crepe paper, tape it to the ball of tissue paper with the masking tape.

    Take a turn with the crepe paper, then hide a second gift.

    Make several turns with the crepe paper to cover the gift and obtain a larger ball and secure the paper with a piece of masking tape.

    Repeat the operation as many times as you wish, depending on the number of children.

    Once all the gifts have been slipped in and your surprise balls closed, using masking tape, print the happy faces surprise ball printable.

    Hide the end of masking tape by sticking the eyes and mouth over it with patafix, glue or double-sided tape.
